  • 8 oz Pasta Any type
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables Frozen or fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish

Cooking Steps

  • Cook the noodles according to the package directions, then drain them.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and mixed vegetables to the skillet.
  • Season the vegetables with thyme, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine. Cook until the onions are soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the flour until the vegetables are coated. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a simmer.
  • Stir occasionally until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta and chicken, stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
