Ingredients

Tea Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon YBTCO Orange Spice Tea https://ybtco.com/products/orange-spice
  • 0.5 cup hot water 212°F
  • 0.5 cup milk of choice Oat milk recommended for best froth
  • 1 tablespoon orange syrup or honey/maple syrup, https://coffeecopycat.com/homemade-blood-orange-syrup/
  • pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Heat your water to a rolling boil (212°F).
  • Place 1 tablespoon of Orange Spice Tea in your infuser or teapot. Pour ½ cup of hot water over the leaves and steep for 5 minutes to get a strong, robust concentrate.
  • Remove the tea leaves. Stir the orange syrup (or honey) into the hot tea until dissolved. Pour into your favorite mug.
  • While the tea steeps, gently heat your milk. Use a handheld frother or whisk to create a creamy foam.
  • Pour the warm, frothed milk over the tea. Top with a dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Sweetener Tip: While orange syrup amplifies the citrus notes, brown sugar or maple syrup adds a lovely molasses depth. Milk Choice: For the thickest foam, use a "Barista Blend" oat milk or whole dairy milk.
