Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • ½ cup raisins or walnuts optional

Instructions
 

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine wet ingredients.
  • In another bowl, mix dry ingredients.
  • Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in grated carrots and any optional ingredients.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Let cool before serving.
