Ingredients

Frozen Mango Ingredients

  • 20 ounces frozen mango chunks (2 bags, about 5 cups)
  • cup liquid sweetener (maple syrup, honey, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (from 1 medium lime)
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Let frozen mango chunks sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to take the chill off, but do not thaw completely.
  • Process the mango, liquid sweetener, lime juice, and kosher salt in a food processor until smooth, about 1 minute. Stop, scrape sides, stir, and process again until creamy, 4-5 minutes total.
  • Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer to an airtight container, cover and freeze until solid, 2-3 hours.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. For fresh mango substitution, freeze fresh chopped mango until solid before using.
