  • 1 quart vegetable oil for deep-frying
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs beaten

  • 3 cups apples peeled, cored and chopped
