Pizza Dough

  • 1 recipe Pizza dough for 4 pizzas

Toppings

  • 796 ml Canned Italian tomatoes drained and roughly crushed
  • 250 g Mozzarella di Bufala Campana torn into pieces
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Fresh basil to taste

Cooking Instructions

  • Place a pizza stone on the grill. Preheat the barbecue to high heat.
  • On a floured work surface, divide the dough into four equal portions. Roll out one piece of dough at a time into a disc about 23 cm (9 inches) in diameter. Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread the tomatoes and cheese on top. Season with salt.
  • Place the pizza with the parchment paper on the hot stone. Close the lid and cook for 6 to 10 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted. Remove from the heat and let rest for 1 minute. Garnish with basil leaves. Season with pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Cut into slices and serve. Continue cooking with the remaining pizzas.
