Pizza Dough
- 1 recipe Pizza dough for 4 pizzas
Toppings
- 796 ml Canned Italian tomatoes drained and roughly crushed
- 250 g Mozzarella di Bufala Campana torn into pieces
- Olive oil to taste
- Fresh basil to taste
Cooking Instructions
Place a pizza stone on the grill. Preheat the barbecue to high heat.
On a floured work surface, divide the dough into four equal portions. Roll out one piece of dough at a time into a disc about 23 cm (9 inches) in diameter. Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread the tomatoes and cheese on top. Season with salt.
Place the pizza with the parchment paper on the hot stone. Close the lid and cook for 6 to 10 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted. Remove from the heat and let rest for 1 minute. Garnish with basil leaves. Season with pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Cut into slices and serve. Continue cooking with the remaining pizzas.
