Ingredients
  

Sausage Meatballs

  • 1 pound Ground Sausage
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper

Pasta and Sauce

  • 12 ounces Pasta (e.g., fettuccine)
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 cup Walnuts Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 8 leaves Sage Fresh

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine sausage, breadcrumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
  • Bake meatballs on a baking sheet for 20 minutes.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add cooked pasta, walnuts, and meatballs to the skillet. Toss to combine.
  • Fry sage leaves in olive oil until crispy, then fold into the pasta.
  • Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
